Add image link detection

Currently, the bot only detects attachments, which is not how all images are sent.

Detect image links and treat them as attachments.

Implement imperfect image matching

Implement imperfect image matching such that compressed, slightly cropped, and rotated images may still be detected as the same image.

This will likely be a very difficult task and require difference or perceptual hashing well implemented using MongoDB.

The current hashing algorithm is MD5, which is completely inadequate for this task as it is an avalanche effect hashing algorithm.

Add custom status

Add a custom status potentially containing the quantity of images stored and a help command.

Restrict to certain channels

Restrict repost detection to certain channels to prevent spam in unwanted channels.

Add list commands command

Add a command which lists all available commands.

Import from channel

Add a feature to allow importing all previously sent images from a channel.

Add basic documentation

Add basic documentation covering how to host the bot yourself, contribute to the codebase, use the bot, etc.

Add help command

Add a help command so people can learn how to use the bot in Discord (without visiting documentation).
