You did a great job with this and it outputs the light level just as I need. However, my intended use to put it inline with timers and triggers from Home Assistant which contain important information like entity ids, etc. Right now, the object data that flows into your node is removed when what I really need is for it to append the data you provide so I can continue to pass along all the information I need to so I can then manipulate the light(s) I'm working with. Is that something you can make happen?

It would be great to see the current K being calculated right in Node-RED as a status, like you see with many other nodes.
