pokemon's Issues

Getting Involved

Hello!

I forked and made some changes to the make_db scripts and had to do a few other updates as the underlying website had been re-designed so the database could no longer be rebuilt.

I've got the changes here ready to go; you happy for me to raise a PR?

https://github.com/richiebzzzt/pokemon

I've tested that it works on Windows 10, Ubuntu and even a Databricks Cluster! My test package is on pypi (clefairy)

Thanks for creating this, it's great!

Update database to support Gen9

With the release of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet we've moved into Generation 9 with a total of 1008 Pokemon. The current database included with this project ends at Eternatus (#890) which was Sword & Shield before the DLC (Gen8).

I saw you included a script to manually update the database for occasions such as this, however the script is throwing errors and therefor not completing.

get_avatar() gets incorrect pokemon.

get_avatar() seems to be getting the incorrect pokemon. here were just two examples i noticed.

It appears that the entire database has been mixed up, unless I'm misunderstanding.
I assume this was an error made in the .json?
Or am I doing something incorrectly?

Thanks!
