About

The main use case of this application consits of a scanner that can be configured to start from a configured block number, and then it keeps monitoring the on-chain situation delivering alerts to a notifier. For instance, you can deliver the alerts to a matrixbot instance, which will forward the message to a Matrix/Synapse channel.

Monitoring Features

• detection of BalanceTransfer events (sent to a Notifier)
• detection of account's Balance under a certain threshold (exposed as Prometheus metrics)

Add support for real matrix notification using matrix-js-sdk

The current notification system offers only webhooks which are good for Slack but to post notification to a Matrix server, you need to have webhook translation tool such as matrix-hookshot. Moreover those are less secure than sending message an authenticated bot account using the Matrix protocol.
This can be implemented by using the Matrix-js-sdk, see: https://matrix.org/docs/guides/usage-of-the-matrix-js-sdk
