This repo was created in an effort to use github octicons in keynote. Current octicons are in SVG, which keynote doesn't support. Currently offering black and white octicons. Enjoy!

Regenerate Icons?

This is a super helpful project. The current icon set is a bit out of date.

Is it possible for you to regenerate the icons with the latest version of the SVGs? It would be great if your could share the script used to generate the files so others can regenerate them themselves.

File naming scheme

So currently the pngs are all organized like this:

./${color}/${icon_name}.svg.png

for example ./white/arrow-small-up.svg.png

I was thinking I could remove the .svg from .svg.png and reupload.

At the same time, would be better to include the colour in the filename?

e.g. opticons-png/white/arrow-small-up-white.png

We could use the x11 color names as a standard.

I could write a bash script to automate the process at the same time, so people could render arbitrary colours as needed.

White Icons

Would love to have a set in white, don't know how you created this set.

Retina images @2x.png

I am surprisingly having a hard time figuring out how to appropriately generate these. I'm not sure if I can resample your provided images or if I need to generate new ones.
