search package

Open searches in your default browser from Atom for the following sites:

  • Google
  • DuckDuckGo
  • Twitter
  • GitHub
  • StackOverflow
  • Wikipedia

You can highlight text and then select google, ddg, twitter, github, stackoverflow, or wikipedia from the command palette (Cmd-shift-P) to search the respective site for those terms. If no text is selected, it will bring up base search page for the respective site.

Installing search for Atom

From Atom

  • Open up the Settings View (Cmd-,)
  • Select the Packages tab
  • Search for search

From the command-line

$ apm install search
