ddx3216http's Issues

RPi testing

Hi, I've installed the node application on a RPi3 with the latest Raspbian.
I've managed to make it work but I've found some issues.
First was the index of the midi output port, I had to change from 0 to 1 in the lines

console.log("Sending on midi out", output.getPortName(1));
output.openPort(1);

I don't know if this issues is specific to RPi.

Then I had a parsing error in ALSA send for the two calls ping and requestMeterData. They both call assembleCommand that is later called also inside sendCommand, so this causes issues.
Also this two sysex seem to have no effect (no answer from the mixer). Is a sysex protocol document available for the DDX3216?

Instruction on hooking up a system

Hi,
got hold of one of these mixers and after trying with a cheap usb-midi adapter I can conclude that there are some big differences in how the midi control messages are formed.

For this reason I am curious to hear about your setup and how the mixer was configured.

I only manage to get midi messages of size 3 bytes.
On the mixer I am running the 1.11 firmware I believe.
I have the direct par sysex enabled and all of the messages are on format:
( 176,[function/channel],[value] )

And as I mentioned I am running this with a usb to midi adapter connected to my Mac.
Are the 8 bytes due to some other adapter? or some other setting on the mixer?

Incomplete message?

Hi, first of all... thank you!
A remote controll is all the Desk is lacking.

But my problem is: (im pretty new to Linux)

I got the server running i think. I can open the Browser and see the faders and all.
Also when i either use the Desk or the Browser i can see my MIDI controller gets or sends something.

But nothing happens, either the Browser side changes or the Desk.

when i start the server it says:

tried different Midi Ports but nothing happens.
Got any tip for me?
