No RSS support?
I just tried this and saw that you only support the new json feed format. Is RSS support planned? Otherwise the app name would be a bit misleading. ;)
Do you know of any sites supporting the new json feed format. I couldn't find any for testing. I'd love to hack on this as I was looking for a solution like this and tt-rss just seemed really out-dated and not friendly towards contributions.

For web-based feed readers, it would be helpful to publishers if you reported your subscription numbers. To do this, add a substring of the form (n subscribers), where n is the actual number, to the user-agent header in your http and https requests.
use Conditional Get to minimize bandwidth
Feed readers are strongly advised to use Conditional GET, in order to minimize bandwidth and CPU cycles on clients and servers.
