- Operating System: Windows 7 SP1+, macOS 10.12+, or Linux.
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent.
- RAM: 8 GB.
- Graphics: Graphics card with DirectX 11 or Metal support.
- Operating System: Windows 10, macOS 10.14+, or a recent Linux distribution.
- Processor: Intel Core i7 or AMD equivalent.
- RAM: 16 GB or higher.
- Graphics: Graphics card with DirectX 12 or Metal support, and with VRAM of 4 GB or higher.
- Storage: SSD for better performance and additional storage space.
Clone the repository to your local machine by opening a terminal or command prompt and running:
git clone https://github.com/username/repo.git
- Ensure that Unity Hub is installed on your machine.
- Open Unity Hub and sign in with your Unity account.
- Install the Unity version specified in the project (refer to the project documentation or
ProjectSettings/ProjectVersion.txt
file).
- Open Unity Hub.
- Click on "Add" and select the folder where you cloned the project.
- Unity Hub will recognize the project and list it.
- Open the Unity project in Unity Editor.
- Check for dependencies in the project documentation or a
package.json
file. - Use the Unity Package Manager to install any required packages.
- Unity projects are organized into Scenes. Check if there is a designated main Scene to run.
- Open the desired Scene by navigating to it in the
Assets
folder and double-clicking.
- Press the "Play" button in the Unity Editor to run the project.
- Observe the game or application in the Game view.
