Sorry for the noise today! The version of Eclipse installed does not work on my old 32 bit laptop. I guess Golipse could have some sort of UI for selecting a 32 or 64 bit install. I am afraid I don't know any yet Cocoa so no patch from me just yet. Of course this can be tweaked in Info.plist. This is just feature suggestion. Feel free to close it if you are far too busy!

If you use the build package it still runs in to the curl redirect problem when it tries to download the gist. I don't think the latest build package has been uploaded. The WOCommunity page links directly here and this is likely to be off putting to users who don't want to build the Cocoa app. The script would be less fragile to redirect problems if it followed redirects (-L option).

I would also suggest using the curl '--progress-bar' option when downloading the Eclipse package. It saves filling up the console with hundreds of lines of curl output.

We should add a line to set the file encoding to UTF-8 by default in Eclipse, something like:

cat "-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8" >> ECLIPSE_HOME/Eclipse.app/Content/MacOS/eclipse.ini

Setting the default to be UTF-8 fixes many problems, including http://issues.objectstyle.org/jira/browse/WOL-1188

The Golipse.app_build_4.zip archive have the old version of the app, with the older URL. Can you upload a new build?
