This is a cross-platform desktop client for Duolingo.

  • Running the Duolingo webapp as a desktop client
  • Dark theme for reduced eye strain when using this app for longer periods of time, or at night

  • Menu bar integration of common actions

  • Native desktop notifications

Usage

Requirements

Install npm, if you haven't already.

Make sure it is added to your PATH environment variable. This is usually done automatically upon installation on Linux and Mac, but has to be done manually on Windows.

Installation

Run the following command in the application directory:

npm install

Running

Run the following command in the application directory:

npm start

Building

Run the following command in the application directory:

npm run build
