I've just tried to initialize a new wookey build directory from wookey_stable.xml manifest, but I've been greeted with:

fatal: manifest 'wookey_stable.xml' not available
fatal: <project> invalid "path": ./doc: bad component: .

The following discussion led me to the core of the issue: apparently newer repo versions (that are downloaded by default in the .repo directory through initialization) do not accept ./ as part of a path component (contrarily to what is said in the link above, a "." alone does not seem to be an issue). Both workarounds worked for me:

• use repo init --repo-rev="v2.12.2" -u https://github.com/wookey-project/manifest.git -m wookey_stable.xml as suggested in the discussion
• remove all ./ components from the manifest file (which is apparently accepted also by repo v2.12.2)
