workflowscommunity.github.io's Introduction

Workflows Community Initiative Website

https://workflows.community

Editing website

You can edit this website using GitHub pull request.

Most of the content is generated from the _data directory or the individual html pages.

If you are editing this website locally, you can try rendering it with Docker, e.g.:

docker run -it -e PAGES_REPO_NWO=workflowscommunity/workflowscommunity.github.io \
  --volume=`pwd`:/srv/jekyll -p 4000:4000 jekyll/jekyll jekyll serve

Note that you will also need to execute scripts/process_systems.py manually with Python to recreate the workflow system pages from GitHub.

workflowscommunity.github.io's Issues

feature request: specify location of .wci.yml file

For projects that prefer keeping clutter of their top-level directory on Github to a minimum, make it possible to specify the relative location of the .wci.yml file in the _data/workflow_systems.yml entry.

sync workflow systems with wikidata?

For example, WikiData already has a CWL concept IRI: http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q56291707 which redirects to the WikiData description of CWL: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q56291707 which is also available as RDF: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:EntityData/Q56291707.rdf
(other encodings are also available)

Would be great to publish claims (perhaps from a "workflow.community" bot?) along with importing claims โ†’ pull request for review
