false failure in parsing kernel config

Just tested kcheck and found one bug:
I'm using linux 6.1.11 and I've got an option:
CONFIG_CC_IMPLICIT_FALLTHROUGH="-Wimplicit-fallthrough=5"
regardless if I let it stand as is or put a # in front of the line kcheck bails out with:

    sym, value = line.split('=')
ValueError: too many values to unpack (expected 2)

As soon as I completely remove this line kcheck works as expected...
