A toggle would allow for a single button to start and stop a loop rather than having to have two or making a toggle flow.
Hi,
I really liked you timer. I was looking to use it to make a pwm like control of heating floor by using your delay function with variable delay.
Is it possible to add a "change" action that would basically change the current loop settings. The alternative is sending "pause", "start" with new settings and finally "continue" but the output ath the end of the loop turns out to be the continue action payload, the last one sent
thank you,
Tomás
I'm making a simple save reminder, but I want to be able to check how long is left when I send the appropriate message, Maybe a percentage could be useful too, but that would be easy to calculate, I'm wondering about dumping all all the timer data, but you might be able to argue that you could just save a copy.
It is unclear to me what Loop mode does (as distinct to Delay) mode. Maybe some more words (and maybe an example) are warranted in your "help file" ?
Also, I thought I needed Loop mode (but I don't think I did), and when using it in Loop mode, I only got an event when the initial time expired on the 2nd output (compared to the first output when using it in Delay mode).
When I send msg.timerMaxLoopIterations with a specified integer along with the START command in msg.payload, the loop does not stop at the specified integer. Does appear to have the same issue with timerLoopTimeout being overridden
Hi
I have a simple flow, where I input START to your node, I get:
1/30/2021, 5:19:35 PMnode: 3555ea0f.3e2936
msg : error
"TypeError: done is not a function"
Very good and important node but it could be better to have a choice to reset at the end.
instead I just added a new function node which triggers a msg with payload = START
I am not sure, but I get a message all the time, like i am not sending the right payload?
"Error: Can't trigger "undefined" action while state is "IDLE"!"
nevermind it's solved
Hey there,
Thanks for a very useful node! I use it for several different cases. I noticed that if a timer is running and you re-deploy the flow, the timer stops. I'm just curious to know if that behaviour is by design or unintended?
Hello,
i'm using this timer, i try to update the duration timer default but any set is ignored.
I have used a function node with following code :
let duration = Number(msg.payload);
msg.payload = {
command: "set",
timerDuration: duration
};
return msg;
where i'm wrong ?
Im using trigger node to control my motion sensor - light flow. The problem is that I can't control the delay of the trigger node by message. I noticed that your controltimer node would do the same and your to do list has the option of control the timer by message. Is that option coming any time soon?
