個資法逐漸受到重視，影響也波及到了學校的「成績單」。從2014年左右開始，國中就不再公布確切的段考成績校排名，而是以「人數」，「組距」，「組距差」，「組距低」，「組間人數」等等數據來呈現。這使自己以及同學，甚至家長們都非常頭疼，少了校排名的成績單究竟有何意義？由於所有人都迫切地想要知道自己的校排名，因此便開始製作。

雖然用比例計算出來的結果並非絕對正確的校排名，但足以作為參考，有效解決問題。計算器除了計算個人校排之外，也可以同時計算整班。
這個程式最實用的功能莫過於產生一個可以攜帶且外觀易讀的計算結果了。考量到這一點，加入轉換HTML表格的功能，如此便可以脫離漆黑單調的主控台視窗，甚至可以印出計算結果，公布於教室佈告欄！
