Synopsis

ByzanzUI is a User Interface for Gnome Byzanz made in Gtk3 and python. Byzanz captures your desktop and saves a gif file.

Byzanz is a simple tool to record a running X desktop to an animation suitable for presentation in a web browser.

Installation

Download or clone the .glade and .py files in this repo Execute python byzanzui.py

How it works

  1. Duration Select the captura duration
  2. Delay Delay until capture starts
  3. Offset X X position in your screen
  4. Offset Y Y position in your screen
  5. Width Width of the capture
  6. Height Height of the capture
  7. Record Mouse Show mouse in capture
  8. Record Audio Save audio in capture
  9. Record Start to record
