Ticket Booking Database

This project was made as a semester project for the course "Databases", in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Patras.

The project focuses on SQL queries and architecture, the UI is a plain python command line interface.

The subject is on "Ticket Booking for Cultural Events" and the created database supports viewing different events and making reservations, while at the same time, municipalities can add more events that will be available for seat booking.

Running Instructions:

To run the main program first insert booking.sql to your database.

To run the application run functions.py (it needs to be on the same file with municipality.py).

In case you need to change the starting state of the database change file createtables.sql.

Createseats.py initializes the seats of the locations.
