A small Next.js app that compares two H-1B cap selection scenarios:
- The current USCIS-style beneficiary-centric random process
- A hypothetical wage-weighted process using 1x / 2x / 3x / 4x tickets for Wage Levels I-IV
The UI is in Chinese, but the labels keep the official English terms where that improves clarity.
The current USCIS cap process is still random at the beneficiary level. A wage-based selection rule was proposed and later withdrawn. This app keeps those two ideas separate:
Current USCIS model: directional estimate for the current random processWeighted model: policy simulation only, useful for comparing how different wage mixes change outcomes
This is an educational calculator, not legal advice.
