pycri's Issues

Connection settings

Allow the user to specify multiple networks and channels for each network to connect to and join during startup.

Permission system

A basic permission-system is needed. Support for different permission-managers would be a good idea (basic password auth, host-lookup etc). That way users will be able to write their own way to auth to the bot (ie. using a database for username/password).

A simple level-system would be great. Level 1 would be the highest access and should be used for essential core-plugins (the load/unload plugin), a lower level (think moderator) for stuff like join/parts and nick-changes etc. Setting a required permission shouldn't be harder than using a decorator like @permission(level=2) which would require at least level 2 or higher (actually lower since 1 < 2 but you get the idea).

Nickname

A simple plugin that allows the bot-owner to change the nickname of the bot. Permission-level 2 should be required.

Logging

Implement logging when handling exceptions and print to stdout for easy monitoring.

Join/part

Create a join/part plugin so that it's possible to make the bot join and part channels for a specific network.
