You have repeated code for training the VAE for mRNA and miRNA. This violates the DRY (Don't repeat yourself) principle of software engineering. Please create a function that trains your VAE, with the VAE specification and training data as inputs and various outputs as you like (trained VAE, loss, latent variables, etc). Setting your code up in a modular fashion will make debugging it and documenting it much easier
