awesome-dart's Issues

Remove redstone ?

Hi,

redstone is not maintained anymore. I've found on its README

DEPRECATED: This project is unmaintained for a long time, and is not compatible with Dart 2.x and newer.

I think it should be removed.

Regards,

Remove vane

The last update in this project was 3 years ago, also on pub.dev the package is dart 2 incompatible.

New category: Newsletters

Hello,

I am not sure if an issue was better than a PR, as it is a suggestion.
But could we add a newsletter section?

Improve contribution guidelines

I think it would be great to add the following to improve the quality of this list

  • Sort items alphabetically
  • Sort categories alphabetically
  • Remove items that lack documentation
  • Add link to the contributing guideline at the top of the README(before contents)
  • Periodically check for unmaintained items and remove them
  • Add pub link for items that are on pub, the format should be [guthub](github-url)[pub](pub-url) - Description.

New Category: API Client (or API Wrapper, and so on...)

There are many useful Web APIs provided by SNSs and other services in the world, but pub.dev has too many of these similar and duplicate wrapper libraries. Some of them have already been unmaintained for years, and it seems worthwhile to organize the packages by API genre.

Thanks for this.

This isn't an issue but I just wanted to say thanks for making this repository, I really think its useful and I use it a lot. Just thanks. :)

Looking for a maintainer

It's been a while since I've created this project and I no longer use Dart and am not in touch with the pulse of the community. As such, I've been unmotivated to keep up with the PRs that come in and find it hard to decide which projects to accept and which are not meeting the "awesome" criteria. I'm looking for someone to take over maintenance of this repo. Criteria is pretty simple - you should have good standing in the Dart community and have the time to review and merge/reject PRs. Please respond to this if interested, thanks :)

add some more awesomeness

Validate pull requests with Travis

Hello, I wrote a tool that can validate README links (valid URLs, not duplicate). It can be run when someone submits a pull request.

It is currently being used by

Examples

If you are interested, connect this repo to https://travis-ci.org/ and add a .travis.yml file to the project.

Change the Angular references

Under Client Web App Frameworks, there is no difference between Angular and Angular 2.

AngularDart is the newest name and, in AngularDart 4.0, it's pub package will go by the name angular.

Please update.

Remove angel

I guess it's now good to remove angel from the server frameworks list as the project is archived and no longer maintained.

https://github.com/angel-dart/angel

Angel is no longer being maintained. You can read my reasons for discontinuing the project here: https://www.reddit.com/r/dartlang/comments/h0z413/looks_like_the_angel_webbackend_framework_wont_be/ftpaxmo/

Or maybe you can modify it to include the forked version instead. It's up to you.

At the moment, there is one fork of Angel that adds null-safety support. If you intend to upgrade existing Angel projects to the more recent versions of Dart, then it's your best bet.
The fork can be found here: https://github.com/dukefirehawk/angel
