tu154b's Issues

Inform on-screen when limits are exceeded

I wish some kind of on-screen message when I exceed any limit (speed limits for flaps and gears, G at landing etc)

Some basic checking could be made through Nasal/limits.nas

Flightgear 2016.2.1 release soon

It has been some time since the development version was copied into FGADDON to become part of the official Flightgear release. 2016.2.1 is due for release next week, do you need any help getting it brought across and committed?

Interactive checklists

I would like to volunteer to create interactive checklists for the TU154B.

You probably already know that checklists can have tutorial markers, bindings for each step and conditions to check the success of each step. I think these would be beneficial to the TU154B.

Interactive checklists drive the tutorial system and it is also possible to drive autostart behaviour from checklists as a single source, which simplifies maintenance.

I implemented complete interactive checklists for the Lockheed Constellation 1049h and wrote the automatic checklist script. I would like to do the same for the Tu154B if you are agreeable?

Issue with the Fuel Pump System

When you have the fuel source selector switch set to auto
fgfs-screen-001
and there is no fuel in fuel tank no. 4 (ballast tank) the fuel pump system doesn't work. So when tank 1 is getting empty the pumps do not start to drain fuel from tank 2 into tank 1.

This error doesn't occur when you have fuel in the ballast tank (even if its only 1%).
When you switch the fuel source selector switch back to manual he starts to drain fuel from tank 2 into tank 1, as it should be.

NVU calculation program

Hi,

I want to use the NVU and also learn how it work but according to the manual, I have to take the program from Project Tupolev And it's not really usable.

Let me explain :
First : it require some Microsoft Flight Simulator databases files.
Second : The Jet40 Database driver in wine don't really work with that program.
Third : Because of "Second", Windows is also required...

Do someone know where to find documentation of how the whole thing work so a compatible version of the program could be made or do the source exist so a port could be made?

high res image of the СИСТЕМА КОНДИЦИОНИРОВАНИЯ section?

Hello,

I'm looking for an high res image of the air cond section as all images I have found on the net are too low res to be readable. I am looking for two word in reference to the attached image:

1 : I tried to bruteforce that one and I got lot of interesting words once translated :D
2 : These seam to repeat on lot of switch but I can't read it.
fgfs-screen-011

Also, someone know what's the font that was used so I can use the same one?

ILS approach issue

I have noticed a problem with the ILS:

When you are aligned with the runway vertically, but the horizontal component (glideslope indicator) is not in reach yet, and you "arm" the autopilot glideslope the aircraft maintains altitude until the glideslope indicator comes in range. But normally at this time you are below the glidepath so the aircraft pulls up very hard and you have to watch out not to stall. Hopfully you can understand the problem :)

From other aircrafts I know that they maintain altitude until they start to descent on the glidepath.

My first question is, if the Tu-154B can "arm" the autopilot glideslope or if you have to activate it manually, when you start the approach.

Issue found with the electricity

1 - You should not be able to draw 300A from the APU (it's the same generator as the engine generator). You can turn everything ON without turning a Generator ON and actually fly.

2 - When you put the "Current" Dial to the APU, you always get the reading from the first BUS only. (I have improved the code where you have the original "It's evil hack" comment to add all BUS if your actually using the APU or 0 if your not using the APU. I did not add a check to blow a fuse I you draw to much juice, yet

3 - When you turn everything ON, you get 150A reading for Engine generator 1 & 3 and nothing bad append. The GT40 rated for 111A (it seam to be ok to pump up to 130A).

I found that paper about the powergrid of the tu-154m. The generators are the same, just need a confirmation if the system act the same way.

Also, what append if you actually draw to much juice on a generator, I guess it just a circuit breaker tripping but it's good to know. Also, if it's a circuit breaker, which one it is?
