Simplify whether to decide a content should be in the Table of Content (TOC) by provide a star version of environment…

For the dedication page, all content should be centered horizontally and vertically. Only the dedication itself should be on the dedication page; no title should appear.

Accordind to IU Thesis Document Class, this template has the following known issue

Per the University Graduate School information page on thesis formatting, the template font in the sample is not the correct size – Throughout the dissertation, only size 11 or 12 point font should be used with the only exceptions being the title on the title page and any footnotes. The title, only, on the title page may be as large as 16 point font while footnotes can be no smaller than 10 point. All other font must be size 11 or 12 point font. This requirement includes all content including section and chapter headings. In addition, the Acceptance and Abstract pages are slightly different – official formatting should have lines for the committee signatures.

Why "Abstract Page" in the example file is not double-spaced, but double-spaced in my thesis?
Fix the problem that "Abstract Page" might not double-spaced if it is too long...

Especially, I don't understand why we need \newif\if@titlepage??

When abstract is too long, the committee members overflow to the next page.

Copyright year should be computed from Completion Date.
Could add CV from a LaTeX class, and the name, time, and degree could automatically get from the title page...

Since the usual version of the chapter environment put itself in the TOC, but the star version doesn't. The unstar/star version of the preamble should follow same behavior to put themselves in TOC in unstar version, but not in TOC for star version~~

Maybe the author and title in abstract page apply the same spacing as the chapter title???

• Ability to change the name of departments, including double(triple?)-major.

• Ability to enter the research commettee depending on the actural number of research commettee members.
