laravel-react-spa's Issues

Empty POST response?

Hey there! I'm a bit new to Laravel and sculpting REST APIs (so thanks for bearing with me on this issue) but for some reason, when making POST requests to the /api/register endpoint in Postman โ€” I'm getting an empty response and nothing is getting created in the database?

The front-end works great and as expected out of the box (which is awesome I should add!), but I'm so curious why Postman isn't allowing requests and records to be saved. FWIW making POST requests to /api/signin works fine but man, I'm really struggling to understand why the Register API endpoint isn't working as expected in Postman. Cheers!

Auth routes always redirect to login > home when accessed via url

Whenever you access auth routes directly (type /profile/1 into the url bar) I always get redirected first to the login page and then to the home page.

Seems to be related to the async nature of the authenticated variable in auth-route.js.
When I alert(authenticated) it initially returns false which triggers the <Redirect to={{ pathname: '/login' on line 33

Is there any way of awaiting the authenticated check prior to the return statement on line 23 of auth-route.js?
I can't get my head around how to do this.
