Tool for working with AMD SMU
This tool aids in the reverse engineering of AMD SMU. The SMU is a LatticeMico32 co-processor residing in the mainboard for controlling thermal management, clocks, and fans etc.
The purpose of this project is to collaborate with others to create a free alternative firmware SMU stack that interoperates with coreboot.
You need libpci-dev
make
sudo ./smudump > ram
(Code needs tweaking on different machines):
sudo ./smutool > rom
python signsmu.py myfirmware

I cannot seem to dump the RAM or ROM on SMUv12. I was hoping that I would be able to so that I could just reverse engineer what all of the messages were for SMU v12. What needs to be tweaked in the code in order for that to happen. Thank you!
