Problem

Scientists require historical data on water properties which is not easily available and its collection is a tedious and manual task. For instance biologists who study amphibian life require pH and temperature measurements of pond water. Another example is climate scientists which are interested in changes of temperature over time.

Solution

• Provide the hardware to measure the necessary data automatically
• Make the data publicly available
• Build a web application to manage the ponds and inspect the data
