The instructions are meant to be followed sequentially in our quick start guide. We do not tell them to modify the file name in the instructions. If the user modifies the file name recgardless then that would be beyond our control, there is no longer any guarantee that our instructions would still work.

Recommending java -jar .jar may be more confusing especially for users less experienced with running jar files, they may simply copy the entire command without the name of the file and try to run, resulting in an error.
