Installation

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the latest .NET 8 runtime installed to run the framework-dependent version of the application. Download it here.

Download

You can download the Fallout 4 Downgrader from the Releases page. There are two versions available:

• Framework-Dependent: Smaller in size but requires .NET 8 runtime.
• Self-Contained: Larger file size but does not require any additional installations.

Usage

Run FO4Down.exe and enter your Steam username and password when prompted. Allow the application to run until it closes automatically, indicating the downgrade process is complete.

i ran the app and it gave me this error and a file to send
error.txt

UI does not update when it is downloading

Pretty self explanatory. While downloading from Steam depot, the UI does not change to signify it is indeed doing something.

Patch only CK?

Is it possible to patch only the CK?
