Hello,
i got some problems when using bower-update for some of our internal projects. It seems, that there is a problem when logging the single steps of the bower update. Our dependencies are referenced via the git url.

I checked your code and found a problem at the following line:

"msg.data.endpoint.name" is empty and "msg.data.pkgMeta" is undefined then there is an error when trying to access "msg.data.pkgMeta.name".

I am not that deep into bower itself and what pkgMeta should contain, but for our dependencies it is not defined. It seems that there is just a check for the existence of pkgMeta necessary, in our case "msg.data.endpoint.source" holds the right data for the bower update.
