Motivation

The motivation of this project is to apply the CRISP-DM method into a real world data and problems, and find some business insights and solutions using data science techniques

Data

Boston AirBNB Data
The Boston AirBNB homes data can be find at the above link. It has three files that are used in this project:

• calendar.csv: Detailed calendar data for listings in Boston
• listings.csv: Detailed listings in Boston
• reviews.csv: Detailed reviews for listings in Boston

Summary

This project is adressing following three questions:

• Can you describe the vibe of each Boston neighborhood using listing descriptions?
• What are the busiest times of the year to visit Boston? By how much do prices spike?
• Is there a general upward trend of both new Airbnb listings and total Airbnb visitors to Boston?
