On entering add n/D-souza p/123 e/[email protected] g/4.50 i/NTU c/Computer Science y/06/2025 j/Software Engineer a/INTERVIEWED, the Application addition is rejected.
Hyphens, Apostrophe and Special Letters are not allowed in names.

This is an issue as some people's names, especially in western countries, contain these characters, (e.g. Mary-Anne, De'souza).

Actual:

Distinction between Application Status - APPLIED and RECEIVED could have been explained in the UG.
A common understanding is that successfully applying for internship means that the application was received by the company.

On entering edit 9999999 n/Shanna, or edit 999999, the error message does not inform the user the INDEX is out of bounds.

Expected:
Error message inform the user that the INDEX is out of bound

Actual:

On entering add n/Liya n/9119 e/[email protected] i/NUS c/cs y/03/2022 j/SE g/2.00

An error message about an invalid command format is given. The error message only states the correct format of the command. It is difficult to identify the error in the command.

Actual:

On viewing a student with an INDEX that is out of bounds (view 12 T), the error message displayed informs the user that the selection is invalid. The error message does not inform the user of exact source of the incorrect input, and is unclear.

Expected:
The error message informs user the INDEX selected is out of bounds.

Actual:

Similar to name, some Institutions have Hyphens, Apostrophe or Accented Characters in them. This will be problematic especially for Institutions in western countries.

The Sequence diagram for Filter shows too many lower level details.
Filter Command is also missing a construction and its activation bar.

Screenshots of the application were shown in the UG. However the words inside the diagrams are very small and difficult to see.

On entering add n/Johnny p/123 e/[email protected] g/4.50 i/NTU c/CS y/06/2025 j/Software Engineer, a new Applicant is added. In my command, application status is not indicated.

Yet, the Application Status displayed for Jonny is APPLIED. This was not indicated in the UG, which makes it unclear for the user.

Actual:

The UG documents the criteria for filtering using each parameter. There is explanation given, yet it is difficult for a user to remember these explanations due to the lack of formatting and colours.
