VNDB API Client for filtering/organizing and finding visual novels. No longer worked on, but development continues in WPF-based successor https://github.com/Zoltanar/Happy-Reader
Hi again, sorry to keep opening issues c'',)
When viewing visual novels in grid view, we can see flag representing the country of origin for each game, like this.
I was wondering, if it might be possible to have all supported languages shown for each game, like in the info page for a game.
I have discovered a bug.
I am unable to remove something from my Wishlist, from the right click menu.
When selecting Wishlist-->None, it results in an error, saying that "None" doesn't exist.
Additionally, I can see that other titles which aren't on my wishlist, doesn't use the value "None", but rather the value "Null".
Could you perhaps change the name of the Producers list to Publishers list.
For instance, Sekai Project does not produce visual novels, they publish translations of visual novels. The term producer isn't used on VNDB either, they use the terms developer and publisher instead.
I know it is a minor detail, but I hope you will consider it :)
How about adding a list of favorite tags?
It could possibly use the same space as the favorite producers list, if you add a button to switch between the two.
In issue#4 you mentioned that you had fixed the bug in question, but had yet to release the bugfix.
Do you have an estimate for when it will be released?
This is surely an amazing app how have created, but I do however have one small question/request.
Could it be made, so that all data relating to Happy Search, is stored within the folder itself?
The data and such are already stored there, but the user settings aren't.
I would like to have it run completely from OneDrive, it is already very near to being able to do so, except for the usersettings.
I am using 1.4.2, not being able to search the whole of VNDB is not much of issue for me, the program works perfectly for managing userlists/wishlists, as intended.
So far, I have had no issues with 1.4.2, if any occur, I will report them to you :)
Best Regards
Steven
PS.: Thank you for putting in the effort and time, in making this program.
I am getting errors when trying to do virtually anything in this version.
There have been several different errors.
Even with a clean install, I have to be very lucky to even open the program.
The most I can say, in regards to the errors, are that they have all been connected to the sqlite database. Screenshot
However, 1.4.5 works perfectly fine.
I have tried both overwriting previous install with 1.4.7 (as I normally do), and doing a fresh install thrice.
