zoushucai / journalabbr Goto Github PK

I came across this package by searching "bibtex" on CRAN and I found some minor issues when trying to figure out what this package does.

• In the README.md, devtools::install_github("zhoushucai/journalabbr") contains an extra h in zhou and should be devtools::install_github("zoushucai/journalabbr").
• It seems that there is no actual data for the abbrTable object. Running data(abbrTable, package = "journalabbr") gave me nothing.

Thanks for creating this package. I've just tried it out - found it easy to use and very useful!

There were a few journals which were not abbreviated, presumably because they are not included in abbrv.jabref.org/journals?

I can relabel these manually, but it would be helpful to be able to do this programatically with your package? Perhaps could abbr2bib() have an argument for the user to supply a dictionary of journal names:abbreviations?
