I can't seem to tag people on pictures, when I send the tweet the user is not tagged on the picture/tweet. I have to deactivate the extension whenever I want to tag someone in a pic and that's kinda annoying.

So since today I've noticed that some tweets dont show up correctly for me. This tweet for example "https://twitter.com/diarioas/status/1182400661377257472" shows me this "https://i.imgur.com/bVw3JPa.png"
instead of this "https://i.imgur.com/RELqjDD.png"

The whole browser, not Twitter only but also any other open tabs/windows. It's a dramatic difference, to the point that this is functionally unusable for me. I tried clearing cookies/cache, signing out/in, closing and reopening the browser, and rebooting. All the first lines of defense. None of that helped, but removing the extension restored normal speed immediately.

I click onto any tweet, and it goes to the OP's profile and I'd rather not keep clicking back arrow to keep going to home

Was working for a while then stopped and turned into android version of twitter!
I removed goodtwitter and reinstalled but still have same issue! goodTwitter isn't working!

When you click on a tweet, it takes you to the profile page with the tweet "popped out" instead of popping it out over whatever page you were on.

For years, I'm using Twitter for desktop, Twitter Lite (mobile.twitter.com), and TweetDeck, each with its own preferences and needs. Though I'm used to the desktop, its mobile counterpart is simpler and faster. The problem is, when I enable the GoodTwitter extension, Twitter Lite is also affected, thus reverting back to its old, skeuomorphic design. It would be better if the extension only affects Twitter for desktop, and not making any change to Twitter Lite.

Before Twitters update to the new design, I used https://mobile.twitter.com/i/bookmarks to read my bookmarked tweets on computer, but with the extension enabled, twitter says, the page doesn't exist. Maybe add an exception for mobile.twitter.com, so it will work (with that bad design, but it works).

Somehow, I found a workaround by visiting https://m.twitter.com/i/bookmarks, so twitter redirects me and it works with the extension. Therefore it's not so important to add that exception, if it's not an easy fix.

I keep seeing replies/conversations between someone I follow and someone I don't.
For example, in the screenshot, I do not follow the user who sent the original tweet but since I follow the user who replied, the coversation is appearing in my timeline.

This is in Chrome 80.0.3987.149, Macbook, MacOS Mojave 10.14.6, GoodTwitter 2.2

Nothing much to add, it's just that since version 64, the extension doesn't work on Opera. I have no idea what was changed by the Opera developers. If anyone can figure out why, I'd be really grateful! Thank you very much in advance!

I am currently on Windows 7 Pro, which will probably be a key factor to this problem.

When loading in tweets and threads, click on it and it sends you to the URL. If you click outside, it will direct you to the account. Simple knowledge yet it's complicated, and I'd like to see if it can be fixed.
And, if you're confused, let me say that also if you click on the tweet, and if you also click back, and if you're WAY behind on the tweet (i.g looking at replies), it'll take you a while for you to go back to that same tweet without having to go in history if you were in that URL.

cannot re-tweet or like tweets

This doesn't scroll indefinitely for me, it stops after about 50 tweets with a spinner at the bottom. I have logged out and back in, and same thing.

Ive been having a problem with the infinite scrolling feature with twitter where the page will stop loading after a bit. Refreshing does not help, the posts will just stop at that point. Sometimes scrolling up then back down will load the page properly, but there is always a point where the posts will not scroll any further. Ive tried using the "goodtwitter beta" extension, the problem happens using that as well. Any ideas or suggestions?

Dark mode keeps disabling for me every few refreshes.

As stated in the title, these pages do not show the icons of the profiles. I have attached some examples of the issue. I do not know whether this is a bug or if it was simply deemed unnecessary, but these are available on mobile Twitter.

The maximum number of tweets is not the proper maximum, and eventually I get a Back to Top message at the bottom of my timeline. I'm on Brave, [Version 0.67.124 Chromium: 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)], Windows 10 Pro N. Potentially relevant extensions include Ublock Origin, (doesn't seem to affect the issue), Ghostery, Twitter Image, and obviously GoodTwitter.

When I refresh my page it shows the new Twitter UI design and not the old UI. Hoping this to get fixed sometime soon.

When in notifications and click on anything it takes you out of notifications and to the user tweet you have clicked on if you have over 99 notifications it is a drag to check them!

Tweets stopped opening in the timeline. They now jump to the author page. I can't investigate this right now as I am on vacation.

Everytime I now go to Twitter I get a white screen with "If you’re not redirected soon, please use this link." at the top. I tried the troubleshooting steps and nothing seemed to help, as soon as I removed the GoodTwitter addon from Chrome Twitter loaded fine.

Hey. New to this extension today.

I noticed if you scroll down there is a maximum amount of tweets that will load on the news feed - until you get the "back to top" message at the bottom of the feed.

It seems to refresh once and only once.
I may have got it to add a few more a second time but that was after waiting a few minutes and it could only scroll down ever so slightly more etc.

This is without any additional twitter extensions installed (ad-block turned off).

If there's more information needed I'm happy to add to it.

It used to be that if I just refreshed the tab once, Twitter would revert back to the old layout with this extension kicking in. That no longer seems to be the case. Have they closed whatever loophole was being used?

I have read the troubleshooting tips and tried the ones that I could but I don't know if this is happening to anyone else. I use a Chromebook and ever since the new Twitter debuted, the middle section with the Tweets fills the entire screen. I mean that there are no tabs at the top. I can't even access the Google menu to take a screenshot. There is a symbol to enlarge or make Twitter smaller but when I make it smaller, there are still no tabs. If I try to take a screenshot that way, it minimizes completely. It is nearly impossible to use with it malfunctioning this way, which I can only assume it's a malfunction because while I know many people don't like the new Twitter I don't get the impression they are having the same problem. At first, Good Twitter worked for me but every time I closed it, when I re-opened it it was back to new Twitter. Now even if I remove it in the web store and reinstall, it will not work. I can't do a hard refresh without a tab. I have pretty much stopped using Twitter altogether because it is really not usable in the way it shows on my Chromebook. Just trying to scroll down it flips to a reply screen.

Upon encountering a video on the timeline, both autoplay and manual playing of videos will not work. They will be stuck on the first frame of the video. This issue must be due to the program and not twitter, as if I open the video in incognito mode without extensions, videos play just fine.

My Google Chrome is updated to the latest version, and this is what I am seeing on top of Twitter while using GoodTwitter. Can anybody help?

This is what I see if I go to the images and media page for a user and scroll through the media. Images still show up, but gifs and mp4s do not.

Sometimes it will show and play the gif/mp4, but then once I scroll far enough or it has loaded enough of them, they will stop loading altogether and show the above screenshot.

as stated by the title, the tweets i click sends me straight to the persons profile instead of just reading the persons tweet, had this issue today, did the small fixes like log out and back in, uninstall and reinstall the chrome extension, and deleted the cache. It still doesn't work properly. I am on the latest chrome browser and on windows 10 latest version of windows 10.

Not sure why short videos don't loop in GoodTwitter. Would be nice to have that feature, or the option to turn on that feature.

When using dark mode on twitter the sides turn don't have the dark mode colors when scrolling down.

Cannot view lists that belong to a private account that you follow. Normally you can see the lists if you follow the account, but with extension it acts as if the lists are still private/do not exist.

For 2 days everytime i click on a person's tweet it sends me back to their profile and it's very annoying i've tried most things like logging off and back on /cleaning up search history/removing cookies/restarting computer but it still stays like this sometimes i am able to click on a person's tweet without the thing but when i go to their profile or my own it does the thing again and my google chrome is up to date Does anyone know what to do? if not i really hope this issue will be fixed

Happened today.
No idea why it might have happened, didn't do anything out of the normal.
On up to date chrome version.

I'm on Good Twitter Beta. I get a message on the top of the screen that tells me I'm using an unsupported browser, and the message will not go away, sticking there even as I try to scroll through. Chrome is updated, so I'm not sure what the issue is. After I updated Chrome and it took me to Bad Twitter, I didn't get that message. It only came when I went to the Good Twitter page.

I have turned of all adblockers, trackerblockers, etc, ensured cookies are enabled, and yet whenever I do pretty much anything that requires the loading of a new page, Dark mode turns off. I do not think I initially had this problem when using the extension.

Starting today, clicking on the reweet icon no longer shows the "retweet" on the popup. I can add comments to the retweet, but it won't let me retweet with comments either as the screenshots show.

New banner which appears when this extension is used. The end is near. 😭

I use an old version of Chrome as I have to run OSX Lion for some legacy apps.

Love the good twitter app, new version of twitter desktop is horrible. Assume legacy support is not a priority but just letting you know the app stopped working as of this AM.

Everything still works, but if I close my browser, it logs me back out
I will mention, this only happened after I used the log-in/log-out fix for tweets not opening in the timeline

I have dark mode up and when I scroll down even a little it'll show up white in the background. Very annoying
