(minor (%ai:ai-get-version-minor))

(It didn't cause any trouble because the version was 3.3, but trying with version 4.0 lured it to the surface.)

• scene metadata

It looks like only versions 3.0-3.3.x are supported and my OS (Ubuntu 18.04) only seems to support version 4. Any chance classimp can work with that?

Some post-procesing flags require input parameters to control how they function. For example, remove-component requires you to specify a bitwise integer of which components to remove. Currently, there is no way to use the flags I am interested in (remove-component and gen-smooth-normals).

Please consider adding :description, :author and :license information to your ASDF system(s). This will greatly help Quicklisp users and make it easier for them to report bugs.

I was about to pack your project for Guix, but faced with ussue of not supporting the latest version of assimp.

Hi,
I have some problems getting classimp to work on windows, for starters it looks for assimp.dll or libassimp.dll when the name of the library on windows is assimp-vc140-mt.dll, then at some point it complains about the classimp only supporting 3.xx but when I built the latest 3.3.1 it does not work, however it does load with 4.1.0.
Another thing is that when I got it to load it gave me the following error (SBCL 64bits):

classimp was compiled for assimp version UNKNOWN, current assimp version is 4.1
[Condition of type SIMPLE-ERROR]

I've tried re-installing, assimp several times, I have not tried compiling assimp from scratch, because I don't want to install visual studio, but I might try it if that would solve the problem.

It would be little more intuitive if the function could accept pathnames as well as strings

assimp quaternion format changed, need to update any code that depends on it
