1. Instead of the file being sent to uTorrent I receive an error saying the

I believe this issue is with the latest version of Chrome as I did not change
any setting and one day the torrent adder simply stopped working with this
error. On my Macintosh however which runs an older version of Chrome
(23.0.1271.64) the Torrent Adder still works perfectly on both uTorrent 3.2 and
3.2.2.

Config dialog only allows specifying hostname and port and assumes default path
for the webui.
For example;
Server: www.myserver.com
Port:80
URL (hardcoded): /gui/ (in case of uTorrent)
That means that the add-on is not able to connect to servers which have mapped
the torrent UI to different path. In my case I want to run it on port 80 to get
through proxy server in work, which only allows port 80. And root path on port
80 is already occupied by by other web application, so I run my torrent WEB UI
at address like this:
http://www.myserver.com/torrents/gui/
But unfortunately I can't configure it in the options for the
remote-torrent-adder.
I see 2 possible solutions to this:
1) Add an input field for root path
2) Allow entering the full URL in one input field

This is an enhancement suggestion. My problem is that I live in a country where
torrent downloads are tracked and restricted (Germany), but in my homecountry
it's okay (Slovakia). Therefore I always download stuff only via the
home-country PC, but the issue is that my computer in the home country is not
always turned on, depends on how my family is using it (if it's on, I have
torrents downloaded automatically). Therefore an ability to temporarily save
all clicked magnet links/torrent URLs and later submitting to uTorrent (when
the PC is on) would help me a lot!

Hi Julian
Very nice extension, only stumbled upon it a few moments ago. It's great
already but some features I think would be neat:
- being able to specify the label/location for each torrent. perhaps having a
dropdown with some choices? e.g. flac, movies, ubuntu [I would use that to then
rsync certain remote directories to specific locations locally]
- I notice every .torrent I click will be sent to RTA which is fine but a
configuration setting to (a) local (b) RTA (c) ask each time or something would
be nice
Best of luck
Regards
d

2.for any password, short or long; even very simple passwords; there is no
[save]button in RTA settings and If I disable password in Vuze Web Remote
plugin settings, it doesnt matter what I enter in RTA settings as user/pwd,
torrents are added succesfully. So it appears to me that the Username/pwd data
in RTA settings is being ignored and default/blank settings are being used
3.Both enabled and disabled password work correct in Remote Web UI of Vuze.
Which could indicate that this problem is with RTA, not with Vuze Web Remote.
How unsafe is it to run without a password ?

What version of Chrome are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome dev 19.0.1.106811 on x86 Windows 7
What client are you connecting to? Are you using SSL?
uTorrent 3.2 Beta 26883 (no SSL) with confirmed working webUI
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. in RTA Options, select "uTorrent WebUI", enter correct IP, port, login and
password.
2. verify that remote WebUI works by browsing to it.
3. click on a verified magnet link or torrent link, or "add to remote webUI"
from dropdown.
What is the expected output?
magnet link should appear on remote uTorrent client and begin downloading. i
presume RTA should also display some kind of popup indicating success failure.
What do you see instead?
basically, nothing. there's no success/error popup, and the magnet link doesn't
register on the remote uTorrent server.
more disturbingly, disabling the remote uTorrent webUI completely also displays
the same behaviour--there's no "server not available" popup at all, the link
simply goes nowhere.
disabling RTA results in expected behaviour (torrents/magnets links work, but
go to local client, not remote).
