Hi,
Sadly I don't have any player running FG on MacOS so I never encountered such problem.
If cleaning the cache folder doesn't help and you don't have any relevant information in log files I cannot start to guess what the problem is.
I let this issue opened, if any other player has this problem and want to add further information to help fix this.

Hey, I'm now looking after this ruleset, and I am on a Mac-mini (M1). So I'll be looking into this and hoping it's not an issue anywmore.
