Crashed on Ubuntu 14.04

Worked for the fist time only and then never again, the signature settings button and the signature itself disappeared.
Clicking the icon does nothing as well.
I am using Chrome on Ubuntu 14.04.

Reply and Forward > Signature replaces message body

When the plugin is enabled and I choose to forward or reply to an email it seems that the signature replaces the message body.
If I disable the plugin the message body remains intact when I forward or reply.

Multiple copies of the signature in popout

Now with 0.8.1.

When I popout the reply--particularly using the message-specific "three-dot" dropdown on the right, I get many, MANY copies of my signature on top of the quoted text. I think the exact number varies, but the last one had 26.

0.8.0 Not quoting text

With 0.8.0 on Chrome 40.0.2214.115 (64-bit) on OS X 10.10.2, enabling the extension seems to prevent Inbox from quoting text in replies. Screenshots of the same process with and without Signature enabled.

Invalid HTML parsing

If you edit in HTML, and add HTML entities, they get converted and trying to edit the signature again will fail.

<--> will be converted to <--> so the next time, you try to edit your signature, -- is not visible.

Extension doesn't seem to work after Chrome update

Hi,

First, great extension ! really nice to have.
But, Chrome is now updated to Version 40.0.2214.111 m (64-bit) and it seems the extension isn't compatible anymore.

Can still enable it, but the functionality isn't being shown in Inbox anymore.

Multiple Signatures for multiple accounts

Thank you for adding this feature, Bob.

I'm looking for an option to different signatures to multiple accounts.

I have 4 accounts within my inbox, and I need to be able to set a different signature for everyone, you know, 1 for private, 1 for chairmanship of some board, one for this and one for that :-)

Editing the signature

I was able it install and set up my signature, but now when I go back to the menu to try to edit it, the window does not show.

I have both refreshed the page, and closed and restarted the browser. After a restart, it does look as if it's trying to open (in that there is a flash of some sort with the page) but the edit window is not available.

0.8.0 doesn't work

Hi, new issue doesn't work in my PC. Chrome version is 40.0.2214.115 m, OS is Microsoft win 8.1 64bit. I clean Chrome and disable all installed extentions, but new issue doesn't work.

Doesn't match class names

Not all class names referred to in the extension match the classes in Inbox by Gmail. For example the class is set to "eR" for the "Signature" link in the menu. I had to set the class to "eS", similar to the existing "Settings" and "Help & Feedback" menu items in order for the "Signature" item to show up. Also, the script tries to add the signature to the content of the element with class "eQ". I do not see an element with that class and instead believe that the element with class "eR-2" may be the correct one.

I'd recommend double checking the classes in your instance of Inbox by Gmail. If your class names are still what you expect, then that suggests that different class names are presented to different users for some reason.

Signature in Replies

When I reply to an email, whether using "R" or clicking "Reply," the signature does not get added to my reply.

Add image to Signature

Thanks for making this extension. Installed it and is working with text nicely.
I have a logo (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/94483908/UF-LOGO.jpg) stored on Dropbox that I use with gmail. When I insert it the signature box as a Picture URL it does not show. Any suggestions?

Keeps Crashing

Was using this extension on a Windows 7 computer. I have now switched to Windows 8 the extension is crashing very often. I am not running Chrome in Windows 8 App mode, but rather on the standard desktop.
HP Envy M6 with Windows 8.1 and the latest stable build of Chrome.

Suddenly slows Chrome on OS X

Since installing the extension, I've had intermittent sudden slowdowns (significant lags on every keypress) in all of my Chrome tabs, using up-to-date Chrome and OS X Yosemite. Other applications work fine.

Restarting Chrome does not help--it takes a full system reboot. I disabled the extension about a week ago with no other changes, and it hasn't happened since.

0.8.1 Failed in Chrome

I was successfully using 0.8.1 in Chrome all last week, but as of today, no signatures appear when composing an e-mail message in Google InBox. I restarted Chrome, then disabled and enabled the extension, then removed and rebuilt the two signature records I had created previously, all to no avail.

How do I set this up?

I have the extension installed but cannot find where to insert my signature. Please advise. Thanks.

Wipes out drafts!!!!!

I have had to remove your app until this bug is fixed.

To replicate, type info into a draft. Close the side window.
Bring the draft up by selecting from draft menu.
All previously typed text is blown away and replaced with the signature.

This is extremely harmful and has cost me several hours of work that I had saved in draft emails.

Multiple signatures when re-opening a draft

Thanks for developing this. Unfortunately I have a problem when I close a draft then re-open it to edit it again—each time I open the draft, the signature is added, so I end up with multiple copies of the same signature.

Great extension for +Inbox

That is a great extension, thank you.

2 small issues;

1 - When I edit my signature and save, if I go back again and try to edit it again, it won't show up. I need to refresh the whole page to be able to edit again.

2 - I think signature seems to work in replies, but I it would be nice to place the signature right under where I start replying instead of at the end of the whole message. In lengthy messages (lots of replies), it seems like the reply is placed at the end of the whole conversation and my reply is at the begining.

Access to browser history

Great extension, but I was curious as to why the Google Inbox Signature Extension needs to:

"Read and change your data on inbox.google.com"
and
"Read your browsing history"

My simple question is, what does this mean? To what extent can my data be read and changed on inbox.google.com through the extension and to what extent does the extension or author of the extension have access to my browsing history?

Other than that, I love the extension, but will put my use of it on hold for the time being.

0.8.1 not working in Chrome

I dont know how it is supposed to work but all I can do is to setup a signature and save it but then it does nothing. If I open new message nothing happens. If I open the red icon and click on the mail (signature) nothing happes. I use the latest chrome version. I tried uninstalling the extension, switching off other extension with no luck.

Clicking button does nothing

Installed on Chrome. Clicking the button does nothing. When I right click, options is greyed out. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing.
