AttributeError: 'Scene' object has no attribute 'update'

I am experiencing an interesting issue with the normals being generated. I would like the normals to be oriented the same as my original mesh. However, I've found that the normals are all turning slightly upward. This is making my objects rotate/orient unexpectedly when modifying the particle settings.

I am currently using blender version 2.92 and am having trouble getting your add on to work, I have successfully installed it and enabled it, however it appears greyed out in the mesh menu. When hovering over the text I get a caption which says undocumented operator and was hoping you could help me.
