This lesson teaches the basics of creating, configuring, and updating a static website with GitHub Pages and Jekyll. The lesson is aimed at researchers and research software engineers who understand what a variable is and are familiar with the GitHub web interface. The lesson is currently under active development, with collaborative sprints taking place frequently. The authors hope it will be ready for beta testing (i.e. ready to be taught by other Carpentries Instructors) in summer 2021. We would be delighted if you contributed to making that happen!
