If you help me, I'd be appreciated.

Trap control characters

Sending Ctrl-Z from the client side causes the server to suspend, better user input handling is needed for stability/security

Hidden service

You should run this as a hidden service :)

Where's the .onion?

Colors

Should we emit ANSI escapes for colorizing text?

Links

We could use a better link navigation mechanism.

Pagination

I am using this from my BBS, most BBS terminal software does not have built in scrollback, a cmdline arg to enable paging after N lines would be good

Service is down (since the recent labs reboot perhaps?)

Steps to reproduce:

$ telnet telnet.wmflabs.org

Expected results:

cool ASCII art logo and informative stuff

Actual results:

Trying 208.80.155.160...
telnet: connect to address 208.80.155.160: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

Feature Request: Support parse of -{}- in certain language

"-{}-" is used to convert many varients of Chinese, including traditional Chinese (zh-hant) and simplified Chinese (zh-hans), in some wikis like zhwiki.

Example: -{zh-hans:测试;zh-hant:測試}-
It is shown as "测试" for traditional Chinese user, and shown as "測試" for simplified Chinese user.

There are some projects to process it:

A single conversion mark may not greatly affect the article. However, some articles with a general conversion table (at subpages of Template:CGroup / Module:CGroup, included by Template:NoteTA) will add much useless data (for human readers).

Example article: Wiki
More at here.

It may be a large project, with following updates:

  • Allow users using zhwiki to choose their language varient
  • Parse the conversion table

Needs usage logging

So we can see if enough folks use this over time to make supporting it worthwhile.
