Metacritic-userscript

A userscript or greasemonkey script that shows the metascore of movies and games from Metacritic.com on several other websites like amazon, google play and others.

It's primarily designed for Firefox and Chrome with Tampermonkey or FireMonkey .

If no matching entry on Metacritic.com is found, you can type meta and a search field will appear in the lower left corner.

Doesn't run using NinjaKit

NinjaKit is a GreaseMonkey alternative for Safari and Chrome.

data collection policy display constant on amazon.com

Every page I display on amazon.com results in the full page grey-background display of your data protection policy.

I enabled the checkbox but this still happens.

There might be a conflict with other scripts or something else, maybe you are trying to remotely interact with this script.

I like information your script displays but it is currently making amazon.com unusable.

If you have a method to disable this display, please let me know.

Doesn't work on smile.amazon.com

If I delete "smile." from a smile.amazon.com address, it works. Please update to incl this domain. Thank you!

Why has the design changed?

It looks like metacritic.com has changed their website. The little info boxes that I used for this script are no longer available.

As a temporary solution, the script now downloads the whole website and displays the relevant part. It doesn't look pretty but it seems to work ok.

Causing complete page lockups

I'm in the process of going through all the code now (again) but this script absolutely freezes and makes imdb unusable even after today's update.

I have to click Search now for and remove the rating and genres to find the movie every time. For example:

Broken CSS on any steam games page

this happen just for steam pages but not any websites else, and also i don't have anything that can overwriting theme like darkreader or force dark mode flags on.

On Amazon seems to work for movies but not series

If I go to page for the 80s movie Ghost, it works...but if I go to Twin Peaks, it doesn't. Please check on this :) Thank you!

Too much space on the left corner

I would like to move the window to bottom right corner? Is it possible?
