Consider using MathJax for rendering equations

We may want to consider using MathJax for rendering mathematical equations on our site.

MathJax uses fonts and SVG rather than bitmaps to ensure that the images scale to any resolution.

[Style] Make current page's menu item differentiated

Currently, all of the menu items are the same whether you are currently at their linked page or another.

In tandem with the color palette, choose a "We're here" color and a "We're not here" color for each topic.

Develop a narrative for the composition and theory lectures

Break up music content into subsections à la Math

In the music section, we currently have a single monolithic section. Once we add more content (e.g., rhythm, etc.) we will want to chunk things into subsections.

Add a persistent navigation bar / menu

Design Learning Lab color palette

Define ca. 6–10 main colors, each with ca. 4–8 levels of saturation.

[Style] Improve color scheme

Use a pastel color palette which is pleasant and is more appropriate for the learning lab.

We can either use a preset color palette, or algorithmically generate pastels.

Point Bok.tools to this repo

We need the 1080.Bok.tools domain to point to this repository.

Add new logarithms image

The current image gives a mathematical description of a logarithm, but doesn't quite give a sense of how logarithms are experienced in a variety of ways (in log pots, sliders, earthquakes, pitch, etc.).

[UX] Add a fixed menu to the math page

The math page is quite a monolith. Add a fixed menu (that always hangs out at the top of the page), offering pathways to the other math sections.

There are currently wide horizontal blocks for the Math, Music, and Coding sections with too much info.

Create a trio of horizontally laid-out blocks with just a single one-sentence intro.

[Style] Improve responsiveness

The initial style configuration did not focus too much on responsiveness. As such, the site will render a bit weirdly on a very large screen or mobile.
