Minor:
source ~/.bashrc instead of source .bashrc # (two places -... for newcomers, like me)
sudo dpkg -i linux... => should use the full names of the three .deb´s gotten from PPA
rosparam set joy_node/dev ... should define js0 (not js1), the first controller acquired by the the joystick driver

The virtual drone visualized at Rviz and the Gazebo, does not recognize joystick commands, although they show in the rostopic echo /joy and rostopic /cmd_vel

Further news: I manage to fix the warning: "The 'state_publisher' executable is deprecated. Please use 'robot_state_publisher' instead" by changing the src/tum_simulator/cvg_sim_gazebo/launch/spawn_quadrotor.launch (state_publisher x robot_state_publisher). I have also changed the src/ardrone_joystick/src/main.cpp to better reflect the XBOX360 joystick (it was really mapping ps3 joystick instead). Now the quadrotor is flying, but what about the other errors?
