Result:
AppCode和Intellij IDEA里面,Dracula插件升级之后,Color Scheme里面Dracula消失了,编辑器配色回到了默认的Darcula。
但是UI部分还是Dracula。
就很奇怪。
JetBrains has released 2020.3, and this release introduces an interesting feature: IDE color theme will sync with the system's theme(on macOS it does, I did not investigate other platforms). So maybe a new Dracula Light theme is fantastic?
Dear Developer,
first off all I would like to express my satisfaction. This theme is a masterpiece. 👍
Now I have updated my PyCharm
to 2019.3
(Windows 10) the coloring behaves odd.
Just after installing the theme, it is coloured perfectly but whenever I restart the PyCharm
I get ugly brownish colour.
I enclosed the image.
Currently the workaround is to disable and enable again the DraculaTheme
, which solves the problem. 🤓
Thanks for your help in advance.

After setting the theme in Appearance & Behavior > Appearance
to Dracula, all the UI colors are set correctly. The problem is that when I restart GoLand the tree view component's background color is incorrectly set.
Also the editor colors are all wrong.
I'm running on macOS Mojave (10.14.5), GoLand 2019.2 and Dracula Theme 1.4.0.
I'm using PhpStorm 2020.2 and can't find a way to format magic constants differently than "simple" constants.
Is this a PhpStorm problem or a missing theme feature?
Hello there.
First of all, thank you for the FIXME highlight feature using this beautifull purple 🤟 .
I would like to share something i have trouble with:
The red shade used for highlighting FIXMEs in the scrollbar is too confusing for me with the red ones used for highlighting ERRORs even if i don't have color blindness issues.
I can see two problems here:
What about using the same purple for FIXMES in the scrollbar ?
Is it possible to implement the same styling (such as italics on the relevant code blocks) the same way that dracula formats their code in vscode?
Hi,
I'm using Dracula theme for CLion and I found difficulties on writing code because CMake highlight is not good enough.
In my opinion, gedit has the best syntax highlight for CMake. Please check screenshots below:
gedit
vs CLion with Dracula
The improvements from gedit over Dracula come from it's hightlight syntax, color matching.
Could we consider to add this feature?
Since Python comment symbol is # instead of // , the intended highlight color does not appear in Pycharm.
Also any change made in Settings -> Editor -> Color Scheme -> General -> TODO defaults would not translate as well.
Hey there, this is some wonderful work and I really enjoy the look of my IDE. Having to work in this IDE for so many hours is just great now with that look so thank you ❤️
So that's it, thank you so much for this great theme, love it. 🤘
Looks like a few colors deviate from the official Dracula colorscheme. For example, the comments are brighter and the green color is brighter as well.
The official colors can be found here: https://draculatheme.com/contribute#color-palette
I might try to take a stab at this and put up a PR.
after installing dracule theme from plugin market, here I have two dracula theme in appearance,
just asking how to delete original one?
thx~~~

I'm using the theme version 1.11.0 in the Dracula Colorful variant. I like it very much. The only thing which I've had to tweak manually was the background color for "Matched brace" because it is almost impossible to distinguish it especially on the current, highlighted line. Here's a screenshot showing it's default appearance.
It's hard to see that the cursor is on the closing paren of the containsKey call. The slight greenish background doesn't stand out.
This is the relevant setting:
I'd suggest to make the "Matching brace" style a bit more outstanding given that this style has a very high usability value when editing in nested, parenthesized expressions.
I'm not sure if it's a problem with the theme, my IDE (PyCharm) or if it's specific to my setup, but each time I'm updating the theme, I get the "Editor > Color Scheme" setting lost and reset to the default one. What's more, the "Dracula" and "Dracula Colorful" schemes are not listed in the drop down, and I need to restart the IDE for them to be picked up.
The IDE theme is fine, the menu are purple when selected. The color scheme is used for styling the code itself.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?
Unfortunately I just fixed it now, so I don't have a screenshot of the bug, but I'll add it next time it happens.
If you're reporting an UI issue, make sure you take a screenshot that shows the actual bug.
Current commit diff looks like this for yaml changes:
I looked through other themes and looks like every other theme have a more muted color
also there's minimal difference between backgrounds in selected text that is already highlighted:
Dracula theme version 1.6.2
IntelliJ IDEA 2019.3.3 (Ultimate Edition)
Build #IU-193.6494.35, built on February 11, 2020
A line in the Java code is highlighted with very bright background making it impossible to read.
The code can be opened as it is the github repository: https://github.com/debezium/debezium and the class is io.debezium.connector.postgresql.connection.AbstractMessageDecoder
I tried to install the theme following the instruction on https://draculatheme.com/jetbrains but it looks like the theme is not available within the Rider Marketplace.
Am I missing anything here? I have no custom repositories and this is a pretty fresh install of Rider 2020.3 EAP2.
Just like #17.
It might just need a quick update of the compatible version string, but I'm not sure. There are some new/updated layouts and widgets - see https://blog.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/2020/05/phpstorm-2020-2-early-access-program-is-now-open)
Thanks a lot in advance, can't imagine working without this theme anymore (and was very confused after the update, seeing the "default" theme for the first time in years 😬)
The installation instructions tell you to copy the Dracula.icls
file to install, but no such file exists in the repository.
Database tool window with selected color is unreadable, predefined colors are too bright. There is no problem in Dracula PRO.
You can enable Database tool window in DataGrip, PHPStorm, IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate: View | Tool Windows | Database
and you can set color of data source in context menu: Color Settings...
or Properties...
