pywake's Issues

Threads and CPU usage

I have a Webapp that runs Python scripts to run PyWake and I notice that my 6 CPU server only uses 1 thread.

Does PyWake use multiple threads?

SLSQP optimise

Hi, after updating to version 2.4 when optimizing with SLSQP I get the ''AttributeError: 'TurboNOJDeficit' object has no attribute 'dAEPdxy'''

Is there a way to fix this?

Kind regards,

Michael

Park2 wake model

Hi,
I was wondering if there were any plans to include the PARK2 wake model within pywake?
Thanks,
Olivia

"import py_wake" problem

import py_wake results with:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'xarray.plot.plot'

Can you please help? If there is problem with installed packages, please share "requirements.txt" with me. Thanks.

tutorials file doesn't work!

Pywake is really open source package? why I can't run "windturbines.ipynb" file in "\pywake\PyWake\tutorials" folder, seems like Pywake is missing some files...

Hope you can add my wechat to discuss about wind energy, my wechat id is 18374809474.

Calculation of AEP of an individual turbine in a site

Hello PyWake team, I am trying to calculate the AEP using jensen wake model. I created a site using xrsite that contains 5 turbines which has different 12 - sector wind distributions and varying wind speeds. I am searching for a method that allows me to calculate the AEP of the individual turbine in the wind direction of lets say 270°. The result of the simulation for 5 different wind distribution is not realistic because it is 5 times the actual AEP. If there is a way that I can get the AEP of an individual turbine in a specific direction so that I can calculate the sum. I want to use this for maximization of energy production objective function for pso algorithm.

How can I import my own wind farm layout ( CSV file ) on Pywake ?

Hello,

I am using Pywake. After exploring some of its functionnalities, now I am looking forward to apply them on my own Wind Farm layout, but I can't see what commands/ functions I have to use to do so.

Please push me to the right direction.

Thank you

Oussama

Blockage models parameters

Hello,

I am trying to model Blockage effects on Pywake, I can't find the parameters to play on for each model like it's the case for wake: NOJ(k) and Bastankhah (k & ceps)... . I only know that VD model includs "sct" but I still need the parameters of VortexCylindet ans SS.
I can't find a session on Pywake documentation that discuss this.
Please push me to the right direction !.

Thank you

Best regards
Oussama
(I did not use The traker link coz I still waiting fo mail connexion informations to be approuved)
