It's time to make Dolphin Pro independent from version 7.4 onward.
Here's what's changing.

1. Discontinue mobile apps. We will make our own, and alter the code so that it's free.
2. Disable licensing by Boonex. This product will be white label, and we will not interfere with the branding of template networks. We will convert existing 7.4 sites to the new platform as well.
3. Modernize the back end so that extension directories and automatic updates work in sync with an optional central server.
4. Retire integration with Rocket Chat. We'll make our own as its own module, no server needed and include video and audio calling, screen sharing plus text management in house.
5. Retire flash apps. We'll convert the usable ones to HTML5.
6. Retire repeat modules no longer used, like Articles, Quotes, Ads, Store, Google Search, Zip Search, etc. We will simplify the code, and recreate module instances instead, so you can customize exactly what structure you want your site to be setup in. Including hierarchical categories, tags, and other taxonomies required for your structure to be delivered as it was built to be.
7. Introduce accessibility. We'll place headings, search engine bookmarks, landmarks and other aria attributes in their appropriate places compliant with international guidelines.
8. Introduce CSS3, Bootstrap, and other modern templates for better page loading.
9. Combine all activity streams into one module. Spy, timeline and outline will be called Newsfeed or Latest Activity.
10. Replace sites module with links widget. This is something long overdue.
11. Expand RSS module with update services so that search engines can keep up with the overall network and all of its modules.
12. Reduce the requirement for core installs to have separate module installations. No longer will you need to worry about installing two photo plugins for member profiles, or two payment processors to earn money. This will all be built by default into one core base.
13. Completely revamp the admin settings area and retire the language editor. To be replaced with full template design. What you code is what you get on one related screen on a per module basis. Similarly, what you change is what's made live.
14. Adapt the builders into a better format. Currently they are unstable, and nothing protects them from core edits. We will build a reset function just in case one is made and you want to change things back.
15. Lets have multiple admins right from admin area. And while we're on the subject of multiple admins, administrative roles and a back end user permissions area will also be implemented.
16. Let users arrange their own content as they wish. From appearance, to design, to layout. It's their site as much as you allow it to be. this ability and the defaults for each user will be able to be altered on a per user basis on demand.
17. Add a core set of developers to this product to make Dolphin thrive once more. Boonex took Una. We took Dolphin.
