another workaround is to add a resolution to package.json and pin uglify-es to ^3.3.9.

    "uglify-es": "^3.3.9"
  }
// ...

broccoli-uglify-sourcemap is the primary consumer of uglify-es in this scenario, so updating the dependency in that addon should resolve the problem, i've opened a PR to update the dependency in that repo there, which should fix this issue
