ENACdrives

ENACdrives is the interactive tool developed by ENAC-IT for enployees and students to facilitate access to storage services, including individual storage and collaborative/archive/raw services (NAS3 based). It replaces mount_filers and is now fully multi-platform (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux/Ubuntu).

Un périphérique attaché au système ne fonctionne pas correctement

Sur certains Windows récents (20.04), l'utilisateur reçoit l'erreur suivante lorsqu'il tente de faire un montage.

En Anglais :

A drive attached to the system is not fonctionning

Cette erreur arrive systématiquement et aucun montage ne se fait.

Sur la même machine, un autre compte utilisateur, tout marche très bien. Le problème est donc lié à la machine + compte utilisateur.

Les premiers cas étaient dispersés, mais cela commence à devenir régulier ... presque 10 courant décembre 2020!

Don't throw notifications for known Windows Exceptions

So many exception case on Windows with so many exception codes.

Some where unknown at the dev time and appeared in the meantime.
They are uninteresting ... not worthy an email to ENAC-IT dev.

This cause the application to not complete its initialization ... And the user can't do anything to mount or open a drive.

Migrate config server from http:// to https://

Would it be needed?

Error in CONFIG_URL if OS distribution name contains space

An error is thrown if the OS distribution name in CONFIG_URL contains spaces, for example with "Linux Mint".

I fixed it by changing line 235 in utility.py to: os=urllib.parse.quote(OS_DISTRIB + "-" + OS_SYS).

Je voulais installer ENACdrives sur une nouvelle machine. A la fin de wizard d'installation, il y a le message ci-dessous et je n'ai pas réussi à l'installer.
